He is able to look at disability through a different lease, seeing ability and not disability and he explains how he manages to connect with the athletes he has coached.
We talk about athlete performance and preparation, the effects C-19 has had on the Paralympic build up and how he seeks opportunity in everyone to build cohesion.

JJ is one of life's special individuals. He joined the Royal Marines whilst at University, served with aplomb and was devastated after being hit with an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan. Explaining the vivid details he remained focused and seized opportunities which led him to compete at the London Invictus Games, earning his right to become a mainstream BBC presenter ending up strutting his stuff on Strictly Come Dancing, all with significant debilitating injuries.

Lee became the world’s first physically disabled person to row from mainland Europe to mainland South America solo and unsupported. Lee broke the able bodied record by an incredible 36 days and also broke the record for the longest solo and unsupported ocean row by a physically disabled person, a total of 3 Guinness World records. Lee is a former Royal Marine who suffered a life changing injury when he was hit by an engine block on a motorway.
